I'm Gina, dedicated to empowering women on their journey to improved fitness and nutrition. As a personal trainer and holistic nutritionist, I aim to guide women in achieving self-confidence, nutritional wellness, empowerment, balance, and overall well-being.

 

I'm a military wife and a mother to two wonderful children. My story is deeply rooted in my struggles with body image and self-esteem. Growing up, I didn't participate in sports, leaving me feeling insecure and disadvantaged compared to my peers. My transformative fitness and health journey began after my second child's birth.

 

During my first pregnancy, I gained over 75 pounds, plunging me into a downward spiral that led to mild depression and a negative self-image. With my second pregnancy, I put on another 50 pounds, and my self-esteem plummeted even further. I vividly recall standing in front of a mirror a few months after my son's birth, admitting to my husband that I was unhappy with my appearance, severely affecting my self-esteem.

 

Physical activity was scarce at that time, and nutrition wasn't a priority. I was merely going through the motions without truly connecting with myself. Being a military spouse and a mother of two young children, I was constantly exhausted, stressed, and drained. I reached a crossroads where I had to decide whether to accept my current situation or make a change.

 

I chose to change and took my first step towards transformation by joining a gym. This journey wasn't without its struggles, as it is for many. I couldn't hold my body weight, became breathless quickly, and lacked strength. However, my determination pushed me forward, and I quickly developed a deep love for the gym life. I could feel myself coming to life – my self-confidence, physical and mental strength, and overall well-being began to thrive.

 

Recognizing the need for guidance to progress, I sought help to further my fitness journey. During this time, I met a gentleman who introduced me to the world of fitness, setting the stage for my personal journey of setting and achieving goals. This path had its ups and downs but ultimately led me to where I am today.

 

Along this journey, I discovered the importance of nutrition and started my research to expand my knowledge. As I continued to learn and gain fitness and nutrition expertise, I became a certified personal trainer and class instructor. Witnessing the transformation, increased confidence, empowerment, and overall happiness in my clients brought me immense joy. I knew I had found my purpose, which was to help others.

 

My passion for nutrition continued to grow, leading me to SWIHA (Southwest Institute of Healing Arts). The more I learned, the more I realized that food is a powerful tool for healing and creating overall well-being, enabling people to lead happy and healthy lives. Today, I am proud to be a certified personal trainer, holistic nutritionist, and wellness coach. My journey was lengthy, but the knowledge I acquired over the years and the connections I made have brought me here – to assist women seeking positive change.

 

My ultimate goal is to help individuals build themselves from the inside out, nurturing mental and physical strength while finding a harmonious life balance.
